Over time, I’ve tried a few experiments to see if they can help improve productivity, focus, and engagement. Click on the experiments below to get more details on what has worked… or not.
Email limitation (daily): Strict limits on when to send email so it doesn’t become a proxy for engagement.
Email limitation (weekend): Removing the ability to receive work email on the weekends so that I focus on family. Balance.
Blackberry limitation (new): Just started in December 2011. Staying away from using my work-enabled Blackberry.
